DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Grand Am KONI Challenge Series recently announced a 10-race schedule for both its divisions for 2008.
Both the Grand Sport (GS) and Street Tuner (ST) classes will run 10-race championships contested at 11 different events in 2008. The series will begin at Daytona Int’l Speedway on Jan. 25 and once again host its final round with a six-hour endurance event at Virginia Int’l Raceway on Oct. 4-5.

Jan. 25: Daytona Int’l Speedway, Daytona Beach, Fla.; April 26: Virginia Int’l Raceway, Alton, Va.; May 26: Lime Rock Park, Lakeville, Conn.; June 15: Mosport Int’l Raceway, Bowmanville, Ontario; June 22: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, Ohio; July 5: Watkins Glen Int’l, Watkins Glen, N.Y.; July 19: Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, Ala.; Aug. 10: Iowa Speedway, Newton, Iowa; Aug. 16-17:Trois Rivieres, Trois Rivieres, Quebec; Sept. 21: Miller Motorsports Park, Tooele, Utah; Oct. 4-5: Virginia Int’l Raceway, Alton, Va.
