GT3 Cup Expands Schedule
IMSA GT3, Lites Schedules
BRASELTON, Ga. — A record number of venues, a season-ending endurance race and another appearance with Formula 1 highlight the 2008 schedule for the IMSA GT3 Cup by Michelin.
A full field of Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars will compete in 14 rounds at seven of the most prominent venues in North America.
The schedule:
March 13-14, Sebring (Fla.) Int’l Raceway; May 17-18, Miller Motorsports Park, Tooele, Utah; June 7-8, Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, Montreal, Canada; July 18-19, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, Ohio; Aug. 23-24, Mosport Int’l Raceway, Bowmanville, Ontario; Oct. 2-3, Road Atlanta, Braselton, Ga.; Oct. 18-19, Laguna Seca, Monterey, Calif.
IMSA Lites Repeat 2007 Sked
BRASELTON, Ga. — The International Motor Sports Ass’n has released the 2008 schedule for IMSA Lites presented by Hankook as the prototype feeder series looks to continue the momentum it has created since its first season in 2006.
Now in its third year, the series has produced a schedule that is a mirror image of this past season.

March 13-14, Sebring (Fla.) Int’l Raceway; May 17-18, Miller Motorsports Park, Tooele, Utah; July 11-12, Lime Rock Park, Lakeville, Conn.; Aug. 23-24, Mosport Int’l Raceway, Bowmanville, Ontario; Oct. 2-3, Road Atlanta, Braselton, Ga.; Oct. 18-19, Laguna Seca, Monterey, Calif.
