Star Mazda Sets 2008 Schedule

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear released its 12-race schedule for the new season, beginning March 14 at Florida’s Sebring Int’l Raceway.
The series will visit several of the country’s most historic road courses and a collection of street courses before concluding its campaign Oct. 18 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
“This schedule represents the best possible balance of exposure and experience for our teams, driver and sponsors,” says Star Mazda Championship President Gary Rodrigues. “Once again we will be sharing the center stage spotlight with the American Le Mans Series, Champ Car and Grand Am on a combination of road courses, street circuits and airport tracks.”

March 14, Sebring Int’l Raceway, Sebring, Fla.; April 26, Houston Reliant Park, Houston, Texas; May 17, Miller Motorsports Park, Toele, Utah; June 7, Watkins Glen Int’l, Watkins, Glen, N.Y.; June 21, Burke Lakefront Airport, Cleveland, Ohio; July 5, Exhibition Place, Toronto, Ontario; July 26, Portland Int’l Raceway, Portland, Ore.; Aug. 9, Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wis.; Aug. 17, Circuit Trois-Rivieres,  Trois-Rivieres, Quebec; Aug. 23, Mosport Int’l Raceway, Bowmanville, Ontario; Oct. 3, Road Atlanta, Braselton, Ga.; Oct. 18, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Monterey, Calif.
