LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. — Chad Blonde earned his third O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions victory of the season in Friday night’s opener for the Hoosier Fall Classic at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
Blonde shared the front row with Danny Smith and immediately took the lead and began working traffic on the quarter-mile oval. Kraig Kinser, who started in the second row, followed in second.
After a red flag and successive yellows at the halfway point in the 30-lap run, Blonde pulled away from the field and easily beat Kinser to the checkered flag.
Smith, Greg Wilson and Dale Blaney rounded out the top five.
The finish left Smith and Wilson tied atop the standings heading into Saturday night’s point-paying finale.
