SARVER, Pa. — Kenny Jacobs drew the pole for Friday night’s O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions sprint-car event at Lernerville Speedway and led all 35 laps of the half-mile oval, banking $5,000 for the victory.
It was his 98th career All Star triumph.
Jacobs had a close call on lap 21 when he slapped the wall with the right rear of his No. 59, bending the wheel.
However, Jacobs still held off Paul McMahan for the victory.
“This is one of the best tracks in the country,” said Jacobs. “I really wanted to win here tonight. My kids keep telling me I need to get three more wins (to reach 100). Heck, I say lets go for seven or eight more.”
