Long Aces Eldora Shootout

ASCS Sprints on Dirt, North/South Shootout

ROSSBURG, Ohio — Darren Long kicked off the North/South Shootout between the Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by Victor Reinz and the National Racing Alliance with a victory at the legendary Eldora Speedway. 
Long passed early leader Ben Rutan and held on through several restarts for his fifth triumph of the season.
Long had young Jared Horstman on his back bumper for several late restarts, but pulled away each time, while Butch Schroeder made a late charge to finish third, ahead of Dustin Daggett and Kent Wolters.
