PHOENIX — Andrew Reinbold broke into Discount Tire Co. American Sprint Car Series Canyon Region victory lane for the first time by topping Saturday night’s 30-lap Hank Arnold Memorial feature event atop Manzanita Speedway’s half-mile clay oval.
With the triumph aboard the AEC-powered AME Electrical Contracting/Ross Equipment & Rentals No. 19 Buckley-chassis, Reinbold became the series’ fifth different winner in 11 events this season.
When Jeremy Sherman ran short of fuel less than a handful of laps from the checkered flag, the deck was shuffled.  And after a wild final-lap melee that left several cars upside down, it was Reinbold flashing underneath the checkered flag for his initial ASCS Canyon Region triumph.
Reinbold took the checkered flag in front of Mike Martin, with Josh Pelkey, R.J. Johnson and Bryan Swinehart rounding out the top five.
The finish:
Andrew Reinbold, Mike Martin, Josh Pelkey, R.J. Johnson, Bryan Swinehart, Justin Fisher, Jeff Henry, Mike Colegrove, Jeremy Sherman, Seainn Hendricsen, Thomas Ogle, Steve Tellas, Stevie Sussex, Mike Rux, Jr., Derek Sell, Kevin Wolfe, Charles Davis, Jr., Brandon Lane, Jody Wirth, Derek Williams, Nathan High, Shon Deskins, Mike Leslie, Nick Aiuto, Jeremy Reagles (DQ).
