Lucas Oil New Title Sponsor Of Empire Sprint Series
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Lucas Oil has signed on to become the official tour sponsor of the Empire Super Sprint Series in 2008, as the winged sprint-car series gets ready to embark on their 25th Anniversary Tour.
The series, which will now be known as the 25th Anniversary Lucas Oil Empire Sprint Series, will run 29 dates in 2008, covering New York and Pennsylvania, as well as Ontario and Quebec in Canada.
“To be sponsoring the ESS series is a big announcement for us,” stated Lucas Oil’s Steve Snowden. “Dirt track sprint-car racing is so popular in both Canada and the United States. The ESS hits so many markets on each side of the border and it’s a great way to get our name and products to the customer.”
The Lucas Oil logo will be will be up front at every ESS event with logos on all cars and series officials will be fitted in Lucas Oil colors. There will also be special giveaways provided to the fans at each event as well as Lucas Oil displays set up at many of the races on the 2008 tour.
Lucas Oil also renewed their title sponsorship of the Shootouts for DIRTcar 358 modifieds and sportsman for the third-straight year.
