Sweet Sweeps Up At Silver Dollar

Silver Dollar Speedway, Chico, Calif.

CHICO, Calif. — Brad Sweet completed his holiday-weekend sweep of Silver Dollar Speedway Saturday night with a second 360 sprint-car Golden State Challenge King of California Series main event in as many nights.
“This is unbelievable,” said Sweet in victory lane. “It is so great to come back here and win both nights at Chico. I was hoping for a good weekend, but this was great.”
With the two wins for the weekend, Sweet and his Rod Tiner Racing team earned $5,000. Second place went to current series point-leader Jonathan Allard. He passed Brent Kaeding on the final lap to secure the spot. Kaeding finished in the third spot.
Bud Kaeding was fourth and Kyle Hirst completed the top five.
