RICE LAKE, Wis. — Billy Balog took advantage of a pair of restarts — one to take the lead and the other to stretch it — on his way to a Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaws Sprint Series victory Saturday night at Rice Lake Speedway.
Balog took the lead from Scott Winters after a lap-nine restart as he was locked in a three-way battle with Winters and Scott Biertzer.
A lap-18 restart helped Balog increase his lead over Winters and Balog led the remaining 12 laps with Winters crossing the stripe second ahead of Travis Whitney in third. Brook Tatnell and Scotty Neitzel completed the top five.
