IRA Honors T. Whitney
WATERTOWN, Wis. — Travis Whitney was honored Saturday night as the 2007 Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series champion at the annual awards banquet, toasting the top-20 competitors.
Whitney was crowned champion for the second consecutive year, posting five victories as well as 27 top-10s.
Whitney’s father and car owner Walt Whitney was awarded his second-consecutive Mechanic of the Year Award, while Billy Hafemann was the rookie of the year.
