Reinke Repeats At Richert Memorial
Interstate Racing Ass'n (IRA)
Friday
SUPERIOR, Wis. — It takes patience to win a championship — and a feature.
Travis Whitney started third and watched Scotty Neitzel put a straightaway lead on him for the first 10 laps of the O’Reilly Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Ass’n sprint-car race Friday night at Superior Speedway.
Whitney waited until traffic held up Neitzel and stole the lead. From there, the defending series champion never looked back en route to his fifth victory of the season.
Neitzel finished second, ahead of Billy Balog, John Haeni and Travis Cram.
