LAKE CITY, Fla. — Matt Kurtz notched his fourth Florida Sprint Car Ass’n victory of the season, but fell short of winning his first FSCA title as Otto Scrape took home the championship crown in Saturday’s feature at North Florida Speedway.
Kurtz trailed Scrape by 31 points coming into Saturday’s race, but Scrape’s fourth-place finish was enough for him to lock up the title by 15 points over Kurtz.
Willie Jude finished third, behind Les Scrape in second.
