Coyle Closes Series Slate With Victory

Thunder on the Hill

BECHTELSVILLE, Pa. — With 137 race cars on hand and a big crowd, the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series closed out the racing season at the Grandview Speedway Saturday night. 
Chris Coyle topped the United Racing Company sprint-car feature, taking the lead on lap 17 of the third-mile dirt track.
He held off Robbie Stillwaggon for the victory, while Michael Carber, Mark Bitner and Trevor Lewis rounded out the top five.
Craig VonDohren outran Doug Manmiller to win the modified feature, while Bryan Sipe claimed the late-model event.
Chris Stockham topped the 600 modified main and Rodney Kistler copped the legends car main.
