Jerrod Wilson shook off the bad luck that has plagued him over much of the season by scoring a $10,000 triumph in Saturday night’s second annual 600 Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires at I-30 Speedway
After a dominant performance en route to winning Friday’s preliminary event over 125 competitors, Wilson had to work for the big bucks. Wilson emerged from a torrid, three-way mid-race battle for the point with Stan Yockey and defending race champion Travis Senter, Jr., to take command for keeps on the 15th round.
Senter finished second, with Tyson Hall, Scott Sawyer and Derek King rounding out the top five.
