HANFORD, Calif. — Peter Murphy captured the inaugural SCRA 360 Sprint Car Series 50-lap main event Sunday at Kings Speedway.
Murphy battled with 16-year-old Justyne Hamblin for the top spot during the first six laps before taking the point for good and cruising to victory. Murphy built full-straightaway leads on several occasions, which were interrupted only by yellow flags.
Michael Faccinto, Greg Bragg, Rusty Carlile and Jeff Gardner completed the top five.
