Davey Pombo gained 14 valuable points on leader Peter Murphy by sweeping the SCRA program at Kings Speedway Saturday night.
Pombo recorded fast time, won his heat and fought off Richard VanderWeerd to capture his sixth victory of the year. Murphy finished second and leads Pombo by 64 points with two races remaining.
Greg Bragg recorded his best finish of the year by gaining the final spot on the podium.
