HANFORD, Calif. — Sixteen-year-old Michael Faccinto topped a big night of racing for himself at Kings Speedway by winning the SCRA’s 360-non-winged sprint car feature Saturday night.
Faccinto outdueled veteran Danny Faria, Jr. for the 30-lap feature triumph after winning both his heat race and the Passing Masters Dash. He also finished second in the 30-lap BCRA midget feature.
Davey Pombo charged to a second-place finish after his qualifying run was thrown out at the scales.
Faria finished third, while Jeff Gardner and Peter Murphy rounded out the top five.
