Carber Lays Claim To 1st URC Victory

New Egypt (N.J.) Speedway

NEW EGYPT, N.J. — Michael Carber led wire to wire to score his first URC Bar’s Leaks Sprint Car Series victory at New Egypt Speedway Saturday night.   
Carber held off a last-lap bid from Brian Seidel to take the victory. Kevin Welsh took third, with Randy West coming home fourth. Mark Bitner completed the top five.
Carber, a 410 regular at Williams Grove Speedway, bested pole-sitter Randy West at the start and was never headed despite three restarts over the 25-lap distance.
