Grasso And Go: ‘Jet’ Nabs First Triumph

NEW EGYPT, N.J. — The Jersey Jet, J.J. Grasso, was the star of the show on Saturday night at New Egypt Speedway when the United Racing Co. sprint cars held its 23rd event of the season.
Grasso won his heat and led all 25 laps of the feature, banking $2,000 for becoming the ninth first-time winner of the season in URC competition. Grasso is also the 17th different winner in 23 events.
Micahel Carber finished second, ahead of Mark Bitner, Lucas Wolfe and Kramer Williamson.
