Layton Outlasts Williamson For Sprint Triumph

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. — Central Pennsylvania sprint-car racing regular Chad Layton romped to his first United Racing Company victory Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway.
Layton took the lead on the second lap and held off Kramer Williamson for the $2,000 triumph at the third-mile dirt track, as 37 URC sprint cars were on hand.
Layton battled Brian Seidel through the middle portion of the race, with the duo trading the lead several times. Layton pulled away for the victory, while Williamson took second.
Seidel, Jason Clauss and Chris Coyle rounded out the top five.
