Stillwaggon Rolls, Ely Hungrier Than Wolfe

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — Dave Ely scored his first United Racing Company victory of the season and the eighth of his career Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway.
Ely led the first 21 laps with Lucas Wolfe taking the lead on lap 22. Ely and Wolfe exchanged the lead on lap 23 with Wolfe regaining the top spot then running unchallenged to the checkered flag.
However, Wolfe was disqualified when his car was too light at the post-race technical inspection and Ely was awarded the victory.
Michael Carber was credited with second, while Randy West, Davey Sammons and Curt Michael filled the top five.

DELMAR, Del. — Robbie Stillwaggon drove the race of a lifetime on his way to his first United Racing Company sprint-car triumph Saturday night at Delaware Int’l Speedway.
In just his second season of URC competition, Stillwaggon not only won the feature, he did it in thrilling style, holding off Davey Sammons, Michael Carber and Ed Aikin, three drivers that each took a serious shot at stealing the victory.
Stillwaggon started on the pole and one by one, Sammons, Carber and Aikin challenged, with Aikin getting alongside Stillwaggon on the final lap.
But Stillwaggon held on for the $2,000 triumph and became the 16th different winner in 22 URC events this season.
Aikin finished second, with Sammons, Mark Bitner and Brian Seidel following.
