DOVER, Del. — The 61st season of URC Sprint Car Series competition will feature a 28-race schedule beginning on April 12, 2008.
Several special events will highlight the Series including the $3,500 to win third annual Jack Gunn Memorial at Selinsgrove Speedway May 17. The third annual Rislone Sprint Nationals will pay $4,000 to win at Williams Grove Speedway June 6. On Aug. 12, the URC will be part of the second annual Kasey Kahne Foundation event, and on Oct. 11, URC will be the sanctioning body for  the Shoot Out at the Wheels paying  $3,500 to the winner at Rolling Wheels Raceway.
Other highlights on the schedule include two events at Lincoln Speedway and three race dates at the Grandview Speedway.
