Gray Doubles In USCS; Bridges Gets One, Too

Thursday

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Johnny Bridges won the O’Reilly Auto Parts United Sprint Car Series Night of Thunder 30-lap winged sprint-car feature race at historic Greenville-Pickens Speedway Thursday night.
It was Bridge’s fourth O’Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder victory of the season and fourth in the O’Reilly USCS Carolina Thunder mini-series.
Bridges took the lead on lap six and held off Blaze Martin and Terry Gray over the final 25 laps. A late caution set up a  six-lap dash to the finish, but Bridges raced to a five-car length advantage at the finish over Martin. Gray took third ahead of T.J. Winegardner in fourth and Will Ragsdale in fifth.
The finish:
Johnny Bridges, Blaze Martin, Terry Gray, T.J. Winegardner, Will Ragsdale, Doug Day, Jake McLain, Dan Statter, Brandon Rekow, Brad Wickham, Mike Partin, David Thorman, David Martin.
