ARCA Trucks Turn 10
Series Releases 2008 Schedule
TOLEDO, Ohio — The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series has released a schedule for its 10th season of competition with 15 events across six states and Canada set for 2008.
The season opens at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway on April 19 and stretches through to its championship weekend season finale at Toledo (Ohio) Speedway on Oct. 11.
In between are a wide variety of tracks, on pavement and dirt, ranging in size from a quarter mile to one mile in length. The schedule also includes stops at new venues, including Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa, Cayuga Speedway Park in Nelles Corner, Ontario and Sandusky (Ohio) Speedway.
“We’ve worked hard to define what the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series is and where we see it going,” said ARCA Vice President of Competition Joe Wells. “Working with our teams, sponsors, track operators, chassis and engine builders and tour officials to develop our plan, we feel good about the 2008 season and well beyond.”
