SPARTA, Ky. — NASCAR, ARCA and Kentucky Speedway officials announced a date change for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the ARCA RE/MAX Series event weekend in July at Kentucky Speedway.
The doubleheader weekend at the 1.5-mile superspeedway has been pushed back one week from July 11-12 to July 18-19. Originally scheduled for July 11, the ARCA RE/MAX Kentucky 150 will be July 18, with the NCTS Built Ford Tough 225 presented by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers now slated for July 19. Both events will be televised live on Speed.
The dates were changed to best accommodate Speed’s on-air schedule.
“This adjustment provides us a great opportunity to place our July ARCA RE/MAX Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in an even stronger national spotlight as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will not compete that weekend. We thank Ford, the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, ARCA RE/MAX Series and Speed Channel officials for partnering with us to help gain the maximum exposure for our July race events,” Kentucky Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager Mark F. Cassis said.
