Bennett Conquers Meridian Oval
ASA Northwest Tour, Project Filter 150 at Meridian Speedway
MERIDIAN, Idaho — Travis Bennett won the inaugural ASA Aero Exhaust Northwest Tour Project Filter 150 Sunday at Meridian Speedway.
Bennett powered by race- leader Brad Stanwood, who led the first 21 laps on the quarter-mile, and held off the constant challenges of John Nesmith.
But Nesmith found trouble on lap 79, hitting the wall after contact with Chris Ratteree as the pair went three-wide in lapped traffic. Ratteree took over second where he finished ahead of John Newhouse in third. Travis Milburn and Dennis Wurtz rounded out the top five.
