Tidrick Takes An Emotional Win
Columbia Asphalt Apple Cup ASA 150
YAKIMA, Wash. — ASA driver B.J. Tidrick of Yakima, Wash., won the 42nd-annual Columbia Asphalt Apple Cup ASA 150 Sunday at Yakima Speedway.
It was an emotional victory for Tidrick, whose mother is gravely ill and in the hospital.
“On the last two (laps), I was crying so hard I could hardly see,” said Tidrick, who took the lead on lap 100 and controlled the final 50 laps.
Pete Harding finished second and Travis Bennett was third.
