EPPING, N.H. — Justin Belfiore took a dominating win of the time-shortened All-Star Classic Saturday night at All Star Speedway — a race he’d always dreamed of winning — earning his third-career ISMA-Wirtgen victory.
Belfiore led the way after the first segment of the race, which was reformatted this year into two 75-lap segments.
He then went on to dominate the second portion, especially after ISMA point leader Chris Perley had been eliminated late in the first race in a hard crash off the first turn.
Jeff Holbrook finished second and five-time winner Russ Wood took third, followed by Joe Petro and Jamie Timmons.
The finish:
Justin Belfiore, Jeff Holbrook, Russ Wood, Joe Petro, Jamie Timmons, Mike Ordway, Jr., Vern Romanoski, Dave Trytek, Bob Magner, Bob Haynes, Jr., Mark Sammut, Jon McKennedy, Bentley Warren, Robbie Summers, Jeff Abold, Kyle Carpenter, Mike Lichty, John Payne, Chris Perley, Dave McKnight, Lou Cicconi, Scott Martel, Larry Lehnert, Eric Lewis.
