Damrow Does It
Mid-Am Stock Series (MASS)
Kevin Damrow couldn’t have hand picked a better place to win his first Mid-American Stock Car event.
Damrow, who started his Mid-Am career at the track, started on the pole and jumped to the early lead. Defending series champion James Swan challenged Damrow on almost every lap, but was unable to rattle him.
The event was shortened due to curfew restrictions, and ended 11 laps shy of the scheduled 50 laps.
Swan was second with Bill Prietzel third. Jimbo Schleis and Kyle Shear rounded out the top five.
The finish:
Kevin Damrow, James Swan, Bill Prietzel, Jimbo Schleis, Kyle Shear, Jeff Tisler, Jeremy Spoonmore, Lyle Nowalk, Jake Finney, Travis Groelle, Bobby Gutknecht, Ryan Manthei, Monte Strouf, Mike Oswald, Brett Piontek, Travis Rodewald, Randy Rahn, Crystal Koenig, Don Wood.
