OSWEGO, N.Y. — Veteran Jan Leaty schooled the field Saturday night to take his second-straight RoC Dart Modifieds Plus 125, part of the Budweiser Int’l Classic Weekend at Oswego Speedway.
After dropping to the back of the field after pitting on lap 41 for tires, Leaty charged through the field and into the lead on lap 76. Leaty then dueled Wilbur Hebing for the top spot before pulling away to take the victory and the $5,000 check.
Hebing held on for second, followed by Billy Putney, Tony Hirschman and Lee Sherwood.
With a ninth-place finish, Pete Brittain was crowned champion following the RoC Dart North Region’s final point event of the season.
