Pollard Victorious In Loaner

SENOIA, Ga. — Bubba Pollard led flag to flag to win Saturday’s Georgia Asphalt Series 100-lap event at New Senoia Speedway as Russell Fleeman finished runner-up to win the 2007 GAS Championship.
Driving a car borrowed from fellow GAS competitor Michael Phelps, Pollard held the point for the entire distance to notch his second GAS victory of the season.
Fleeman, looking to clinch the series title over defending series champion Fredrick Moore, fought his way from the back of the pack after pitting for a flat tire on lap one to finish second over Joey Senter and win his first GAS title. Tony Clark and Shane Chastain rounded out the top five finishers.
