GAS CITY, Ind. — Defending two-time Indiana Midget Week champion Shane Cottle got back in the hunt for a three-peat Friday night at Gas City I-69 Speedway.
Cottle pulled out the victory on the last lap. After chasing Brad Sweet for 29 laps, Cottle won the drag race off turn four to the checkered flag on the quarter-mile oval, putting the Pace Brothers Beast-Chevrolet in victory lane.
Sweet finished a close second, ahead of Brady Bacon, Dave Darland and Jerry Coons, Jr.
