USAC Board Elects Officers And Directors
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The election of officers and directors highlighted USAC’s recent board meeting at the company’s headquarters.
Chairman John Capels was re-elected to a three-year term on the board, while President & CEO Kevin Miller was also elected to a three-year term.
Brett Frood, the COO of True Speed Enterprises, was elected to a three-year term, while former USAC President Rollie Helmling was elected to fulfill the final year of the term vacated by John Saunders.
In other USAC news, the National Midget race originally scheduled for March 21 at Thunderhill Raceway in Kyle, Texas, has been postponed indefinitely. The postponement was announced to create increased promotional opportunities of the series’ only appearance in the state. Event promoters and USAC officials may reschedule the event later in 2008.
