SANTA MARIA, Calif. — Tyler Brown was the third and final leader en route to his first USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series triumph Saturday evening at Santa Maria Speedway.
Brown took the lead from Jimmy Crawford on the ninth lap of the third-mile dirt track and was never headed the remaining distance, holding off point-leader Mike Spencer for the victory.
Danny Sheridan, fast-qualifier Blake Miller and Davey Pombo rounded out the top five.
