SALT LAKE CITY — Ryan Burdett raced around JoJo Helberg on lap 33 and went on to record his first USAC Western Sprint Car Series victory Saturday night at Rocky Mountain Raceways.
Helberg led the first 32 laps, but Burdett took control when it mattered on the quarter-mile asphalt oval.
Nick Rescino, Jr. came on strong to finish second, with Helberg, Porter Smith and Kody Swanson rounding out the top five.
