Grand-Am & ALMS May Unite

CONCORD, N.C. — According to published reports on Speed.com, the American Le Mans Series and the NASCAR-owned Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series are negotiating an agreement that would unite the two series in time for the 2014 road racing season.
The Speed.com report said that officials from both organizations denied an agreement was in place, but the report maintains that the series will unite under Grand-Am sanction with a mix of the existing classes from both series.
