LEBANON, Ohio – Doran Racing will field a Gen 3 Ford Dallara during the 2013 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series North American Endurance Championship, beginning with the 51st Rolex 24 at Daytona Int’l Speedway.

Dr. Jim Lowe will team with Paul Tracy, Colin Braun and Jon Bennett for the Rolex 24 and Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. Lowe and Tracy will drive for Doran at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the final NAEC event in 2013.

The team also plans to field an entry for the inaugural Grand-Am event at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on March 2. Braun and Bennett will co-drive in that event.

“The best part about this year is having continuity,” said Lowe. “I’m excited to run with Kevin (Doran, team owner) and his team and to drive again with Paul. There is a level of comfort and familiarity among all of us, and especially with Paul. We get along real well, we race well together and we are both looking forward to the new season. Kevin and his team have been a good fit and I am looking forward to the opportunity of running with the same bunch of guys. It makes for a good formula for success.”

The Doran Racing transporter will arrive in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Jan. 3 to take part in the Roar Before the 24 test session prior to the Rolex 24 at the end of the month.
