Pombo Hospitalized After Road America Crash

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – Sports-car racer Mark Pombo was hospitalized Friday after a crash while practicing for the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series event at Road America.
Pombo suffered unspecified injuries after crashing his Kinetic/Kia Racing entry and was taken to a local hosptial. A series official confirmed Pombo was awake when he was transported to Froedtert Hospital.
