Rayhall Unbeatable At Laguna Seca

MONTEREY, Calif. – The Cooper Tires Prototype Lites powered by Mazda Series hit the track for round three of the 2013 season today at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with Sean Rayhall sailing to victory.

Rayhall started on pole and never looked back during his pursuit of victory around the the 11-turn circuit.

From the green flag to the checkered, the Comprent Motor Sports driver led the field and showed consistency after posting the fastest practice and qualifying times. The Winston, Ga., native ran his best lap of 1:22.327 on lap five of the race, his second-fastest time of the weekend.

“Comprent Motor Sports gave me a great car,” Rayhall said. “I’m really satisfied with everything today and happy to be here and for Robert Talbott to come home with a win. It’s a huge success for Comprent Motor Sports and seems like we’re really back on track after the mishap in Sebring.”
