World Challenge Opener Falls To Rain

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Round one of the Pirelli World Challenge Cadillac Grand Prix of St. Petersburg has been canceled due to inclement weather and limited available remaining track time.

Sunday’s Pirelli World Challenge race is still scheduled to be held. Qualifying times from Saturday will stand and provide the starting grid for a standing start. Only single event points will be awarded. No points will be awarded for the race not run, other than standard qualifying points.

Sunday’s 50-minute race is set to begin at 11:25 a.m. ET.
