Alex Tagliani was penalized by IMSA for on-track contact at Watkins Glen on June 28.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Alex Tagliani, driver of the No. 08 car, has been suspended for one race and placed on probation for an additional race for his actions during practice for the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship race at Watkins Glen Int’l on June 28.

Determined to have violated Rule 48.4 (unjustifiable risk) of the 2014 IMSA Rules, Tagliani was penalized for an incident at Turn 10 involving another car.
