ASCS Gulf South Schedule Released

TULSA, Okla. – Heading into its twelfth season, Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region director Keith Johnson has released the dates for the 2013 season.
Numbering 23, the schedule will included stops at eleven facilities.
Beginning March 1 and extending through Sept. 28, the schedule begins at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas and ends at the Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas.
Tracks in this year’s slate also include Gator Motorplex (Willis, Texas), Royal Purple Raceway (Baytown, Texas), Texas Thunder Speedway (Killeen, Texas), Cotton Bowl Speedway (Paige, Texas), South Texas Speedway (Corpus Christi, Texas), Heat O’ Texas Speedway (Waco, Texas), Shady Oaks Speedway (Goliad, Texas), Texana Raceway Park (Edna, Texas), and the Devil’s Bowl Speedway (Mesquite, Texas).
The Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region crowed Ray Allen Kulhanek its 2012 champion for the third time in as many years; his fourth overall with Kulhanek’s first title coming in 2005. Other past Champions include Aaron Reutzel (2009), Brandon Berryman (2008 and 2007) Gary Watson (2006), Jerry Bell (2004), and Kelly Angelette (2003 and 2002).
