TULSA, Okla. — The Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region will embark on its 13 year of competition with a bi-weekly schedule of 27 dates at 11 tracks in south Texas and Louisiana.

The schedule kicks off on March 14 at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas, the first of four dates at the track. Royal Purple Raceway follows with the first of three nights this year at the Baytown, Texas oval.

Bronco Speedway in Cleveland, Texas, joins the schedule for the first time with races on May 3 and July 19. For the first time since 2012, the series returns to Louisiana with Leesville 171 Speedway scheduled for Aug. 31.

Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas, will host a series-high five events.

With shows paying no less than $2,000 to win and select events offering $2,500 to win, a pair of three-day weekends will also add extra incentive in May and July.

The May tripleheader opens at the Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas, on May 23, and includes stops at Shady Oaks Speedway in Goliad, Texas, and South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi.

The Fourth of July weekend features events at Cotton Bowl Speedway (July 3), South Texas Speedway (July 4) and Battleground Speedway July 5.

Both three-day swings will offer a $500 bonus to any driver who can win two out of the three consecutive nights. If any driver can sweep either of the three-day runs, he or she will receive a $1,000 bonus.
