ARDC Midgets Reveal 2013 Schedule
The American Racing Drivers Club (ARDC) has released their schedule for the 2013 racing season – the 74th season for the midget racing organization.
New Egypt Speedway will host the 2013 season opener for the wingless midgets of ARDC on April 20. ARDC will return to New Egypt on two more occasions during the season – on Aug. 10 and Sept. 21.
On Friday night, April 26, ARDC makes the first of three appearances at the Williams Grove Speedway, sharing the racing card with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions. ARDC will return to Williams Grove for a show on June 14 and again on Sept. 6.
Port Royal will host race number three on the 2013 ARDC calendar on Saturday, May 4 and will be the third of three tracks to host three ARDC events this season. ARDC will share the limelight with the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series in June and then will return for a special race date on Labor Day during the Juniata County Fair.
The first of two visits to Potomac (Md.) Speedway and Winchester (Va.) Speedway comes in mid-May with two nights of racing at the Greg Gunter owned speedways on May 17 and 18 and then again on August 16 and 17.
ARDC makes their first of three appearances with the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series June 5 as part of the Thunder on the Hill event at the Grandview Speedway. The midgets will share the race card with USAC again on June 8 at Port Royal Speedway and on June 9 at Susquehanna Speedway Park.
ARDC heads south to the Dixieland Speedway and County Line Speedway in North Carolina at the end of June for two nights of racing. On July 20, ARDC heads west for their only race at Mercer (Pa.) Raceway Park this season.
ARDC will welcome Bedford Speedway to its schedule as the wingless midgets make their first appearance at the Bedford Fairgrounds on Aug. 23. The next night, ARDC action moves to the high banks of Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway.
ARDC joins the Thunder on the Hill program at Grandview Speedway on Oct. 19 and then wraps up their season one week later with a second appearance at Susquehanna for the Candy Bowl event.
