Becker Cops Silver Cup Opener

CHICO, Calif. — Sean Becker took the checkered flag on the opening night of the Silver Cup for 360 sprint cars Friday at Silver Dollar Speedway.

Driving the No. 75 sprint car, Becker beat Shane Golobic to the checkered flag on the quarter-mile dirt track with Jayme Barnes, Steven Tiner and Roger Crockett rounding out the top five.

Scott Hall bested Rowdy McClenon to win the wingless sprint car feature.
