Haudenschild Lands Full-Time Ride For 2014
WOOSTER, Ohio — Jac Haudenschild will be returning to the road full time next season, driving for Destiny Motorsports.
Haudenschild, who ran a limited schedule this past season in the Liedig No. 59, will join the No. 9w team for the World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Nov. 7-9 and will continue to drive the car owned by Rick Rogers next season.
“I am beyond thrilled someone with Jac Haudenschild’s talent is eager to team up with a relatively new team and help us grow,” Rogers said. “We have definitely had our ups and downs this year, and we are definitely excited for what the future holds with ‘Haud’ behind the wheel.”
Haudenschild, who ran the No. 9w in a September All Star event at Fremont Speedway, ended his run in the No. 59 with a victory at Eldora Speedway this past Saturday, but is already looking ahead to next year.
“I am excited to work with a new team, and compete across the country in 2014,” Haudenschild said. “We ran together a few weeks back and we will run together at the World Finals, and then gear up for 2014.”
The team will again be based out of Benic Enterprises in 2014 and veteran mechanic Scott Benic will continue to spin wrenches on the Mondak Portables/Rick Rogers Construction/Speedmart No. 9w.
Brandon Wimmer and Lucas Wolfe each drove for the team this past season.
The team is planning a schedule that includes events with the World of Outlaws, All Star Circuit of Champions and Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Series.
