It’s Kaeding By .003 Seconds At Tulare
TULARE, Calif. — The computer made the call during Friday night’s 20th annual Trophy Cup sprint car feature.
Tim Kaeding caught racelong leader David Gravel on the final lap and the pair crossed under the checkered flag in an apparent dead heat with the transponder reading a .003-second victory for Kaeding.
As Gravel and Kaeding left turn four on the final lap, Gravel’s car sputtered and Kaeding pulled alongside. Larson was third defending champion Jason Meyers fourth and Bud Kaeding fifth.
