Stephens Rolls From 15th In WAR

LAMONTE, Mo. — Taking advantage of a late race caution, Josh Stephens charged from 15th-starting spot to pick up his first Wingless Auto Racing sprint car victory of the season at LA Raceway Saturday night.

Chris Parkinson appeared headed to his first victory with the white flag in the air when P.J. Grimes spun bringing a green-white-checkered finish.

On the restart, Stephens was able to work his way past Parkinson and roll to victory. Korey Weyant came on to finish second with Parkinson third. Chad Goff and Austin Alumbaugh completed the top five.
