Stillwaggon Claims URC Opener

MINERSVILLE, Pa. — Defending URC Sprint Series champion Robbie Stillwaggon took the lead late in the race and won Friday night’s 66th season opener for the traveling 360 sprint car series at Big Diamond Speedway.

Stillwaggon started 15th and steadily worked his way forward, taking the lead from Davey Franek on lap 22 and leading the final four circuits for his fourth career URC victory.

Franek finished second ahead of Bryn Gohn, Brian Carber and Kevin Darling.
